AUTHOR, Bruce Proctor, is an expert on Heaven and writes as if he’s been there, which happens to be the premise of this book.
The Color Glory is a largely autobiographical novel in which a young pastor dies, goes to Heaven, and upon entry, is given the name “Anomaly” -- implying that he won’t fit in. After several strange adventures in Eternity, he learns that the reason he is Heaven’s anomaly is because he is being sent back to write about it! He returns to the moment of his death, and after years pass, slowly regains his memories of Celestial events and Heavenly experiences. He is shocked by what he remembers but is faithful to put it into a book to share with a world now ready to understand some long kept secrets (though hints of these secrets have been there all along).
You’ll find his conclusions logical, reasoned, yet fantastic. You’ll find his findings Biblically based, yet something you’ve never heard before. Mysterious scriptures will suddenly make sense in the light of the character’s experiences and insights. Some, if not most, of the biggest questions of the universe are answered in this man’s spiritual journey of discovery.
Written with an open, wry sense of humor, the contents of this book are sure to be debated, but as Arthur Schopenhauer says: All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
